Your portal gives you a simple editor for each agent. You can change how it sounds and what it says; the technical wiring stays managed by RuleInside so nothing breaks.

What you can edit

Name

What your agent is called (e.g. “Sofia — Support”).

Voice & language

Pick a voice, preview it, and set the language(s) it speaks.

First message

The greeting shoppers hear when they start talking.

Instructions

Its personality and how it should help — in plain words.

Knowledge base

Upload FAQs, policies, or guides for it to draw on.

What’s managed for you

Some parts are locked because they keep your assistant working. You’ll see them marked as managed by RuleInside (read-only):
  • Looking up orders, searching products, and checking coupons
  • Customer memory and conversation logging
  • Page navigation and security
If you ever need one of these changed, just contact us.

Adding and removing agents

  • Add an agent — create another assistant (for example, one for support and one for sales), up to the number included in your plan. When you reach the limit, you’ll be prompted to upgrade.
  • Remove an agent — delete one you no longer need; RuleInside tidies up everything connected to it.

Open Agents

Go to Agents in your portal and click Edit on the agent you want to change.

Make your changes

Update the name, voice, greeting, instructions, or knowledge base.

Save

Click Save — your changes apply to your live assistant right away.
What you’re allowed to edit can vary by plan and setup. If a field looks locked, that’s intentional — contact us and we’ll help.
